Solar park Senftenberg

As part of the project development and the construction of a module factory for thin-film modules (EPV - AS modules) in Senftenberg, with an annual production capacity of 20 MW, the Aktiengesellschaft für Erneuerbare Energien (AEE AG) developed a solar park of 63 ha size and 18 MW capacity on a site of approx. 100 ha acquired specifically for this purpose. The project was implemented in cooperation with Phoenix Solar AG, Sulzemoos. In the name of the former AEE AG a development plan was prepared, planning of the whole solar park including the necessary cable route (approx. 6 km) and all necessary consents and wayleaves were achieved in close cooperation with the City of Senftenberg and all authorities involved.
